Emily B. Andrews joined The Law Office of Heather R. Klein as an associate attorney in July of 2018. Before she began practicing, she worked at the Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic that is associated with Elon University School of Law, as well as an intern with her third-year practice certificate with Heather R. Klein.
Emily grew up in Sparta, NC and attended Alleghany High School. She then moved to Raleigh, NC in 2011 to obtain a Marine Biology degree from North Carolina State University. After taking one biology class, she realized that a career in the science field was not for her. She switched gears and graduated in December of 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Emily then made the move to Greensboro, NC to attend law school. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Elon University School of Law in December of 2017. She graduated with the pioneering class that took on the challenge of Elon’s groundbreaking new model for legal education, as it was the first law school in the nation to provide all students with a 2½-year curriculum and full-time, faculty-directed residencies. Emily graduated with honors and was presented the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal for Excellence.
Emily is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar to practice law in North Carolina, and is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Real Property Section. In her spare time, her main enjoyment comes from traveling to exotic and tropical destinations. Also, she loves following the Lord and Christ Jesus, reading, exercising, makeup, and spending time with her family, friends, and beloved cats and dog. She looks forward to living in the beautiful mountains, serving the local community for a greater cause, and being a zealous advocate for her clients.
